Driven by Process. Defined by Character.

We’re North Seattle’s home for focused youth baseball development. Our players learn to respect the game, support their teammates, and lead by example both on the field and off it.

What we offer

Three ways to play with us

We don’t hand player development off to outside trainers or a rotating cast of coaches. The same staff works with your player in the same facility, from summer tryouts through winter training. Progress comes from that consistency, not from switching things up every few months.

Spring / Summer

Tryouts

Open evaluations for players who want to compete at the select level. Our coaching staff runs age-specific sessions covering hitting, fielding, pitching, and overall athleticism. We schedule follow-up callbacks as needed to take a second look at specific positions or finish roster decisions for the next season.

Offseason Training

Training Facility

A Seattle winter won’t stop us. Our indoor facility has four 70-foot retractable tunnels, an open fielding floor, and regulation mounds, plus HitTrax, Rapsodo, and a 3-Wheel Hack Attack machine. There’s also a strength and conditioning area, so players have somewhere to work year-round no matter what’s happening outside.

Fall ball

Fall Baseball

Fall Ball pairs facility instruction with real games against local club teams. Players train twice a week to sharpen fundamentals, then take that work into live games where timing and game sense actually get tested.

The climb

Player development, marked in elevation

The Trailhead

11U–12U

Establishing Habits & Coachability

Every climb starts with the basics. At 11U and 12U, we’re less concerned with box scores than with habits: showing up on time, bringing energy to practice, and listening when a coach corrects them. Respect for teammates and opponents gets built here too, and it sticks.

Paradise to Base Camp

13U–14U

Adapting to Scale & Building Culture

The climb gets steeper here. Players move to the bigger diamond, and the physical demands grow with it. We start asking 13U and 14U players to own their own preparation and hold each other accountable, not just answer to a coach.

Muir Snowfield

15U–16U

Navigating Pressure & Mental Toughness

This stretch takes steady footing when things get hard. At the varsity-prep level, the mental side of the game matters as much as the physical side. A bad at-bat or a rough inning shouldn’t wreck the next one, and 15U and 16U players are also learning that younger teammates are watching how they handle it.

The High Summit

18U

Executing Elite Discipline & Setting the Standard

There’s no shortcut to the top. At 18U, we work on the discipline and maturity that college coaches and recruiters actually notice. That shows up in the box score, sure, but also on video and in the classroom.

North Seattle Select Baseball was built around one idea. Young athletes reach their potential when instruction stays consistent and expectations don’t shift from one weekend to the next. A trophy is nice. Long-term development matters more.

Growth here happens in stages, not single seasons. Each age division builds on the technical and mental foundation of the one before it, so players aren’t relearning a new system every year. With one coaching staff and one facility year-round, we offer a single pathway that prepares players to compete on the field and carry themselves well off it.
